Brand Systems: Building the Hollister Education Brand

The rapidly accumulating collection of diverse education materials being developed independently by global teams at Hollister Incorporated required a singular brand of its own. Brand development for Hollister Education, the new clinical education arm of Hollister Incorporated, needed to scale across print, digital, web, and mLearning. As Corporate Brand Manager at Hollister, building a new brand identity and brand system for the entire collection of current and future education materials was a unique challenge. The visual message had to emphasize Hollister's forward thinking and innovative approach to clinical education. In its simplicity, the custom-designed brand mark utilized the global symbol for education success, and the brand template system used a rhombus angle (based on the mortar board shape) to strengthen the concept of movement and the forward-thinking.
